Sometimes I love my mission sooo much that all I can say is "missions...." haha! I really do love it a lot! This week was rough but it was great all at the same time! Seriously...."missions...."
So the work in Bay City is progressing FAST! This week we set 14 new people on date and we are hoping to to get 6 more this week! So Bay City is just full of miracles and really awesome families!
We are teaching a cute little family with Ralphie, Robin, Lexi, and Alysa! They are so cute and we are having dinner with them tonight! Last week we taught them about prayer and baptism and committed them to baptism on March 7! And at the end the little girl and the dad both prayer and asked God to help them get ready to be baptized on that date! It was exciting!
We also picked up a new family! They are the sweetest people EVER! We taught them the restoration and they really enjoyed it! Charlie and Mary they are soo great!
We are also teaching the Mcleans! This Saturday we didn't have the car so when our lesson fell through we just decided that we would just walk down to their house! Well they let us right in and we taught a little lesson and it was great! He is really stuck on revelations and how it talks about false prophets...so that makes him a little bit nervous! But we will keep working with that!
Bay City is just full of a lot of miracles! It is great! This week we got A LOT of rejections and a lot of really angry people that were very rude. So I got pretty discouraged but as I was praying one night and going through some of the great things that happened I realized how blessed I am! I am so blessed to be able to work with someone great people here in this area! I love my mission and I am soo blessed to be doing the Lord's work! I could never ever give up the time that I have spent here and the time that I have left! :)
MUCH MICHIGAN LOVE,
Sister Oswald
THE BAY!
