I have decided that is what my life
is. Then I finally get it all in one stack and then it just explodes all
over again. But....that is a good thing. We had ward conference this
Sunday and someone said if you want everything to be good and straight
and perfect and everything in a row you can have it that way, but I know
that you won't be experiencing life to its fullest if it is like that.
So it made me feel better. :)
So I am doing better!
Adjusting and everything is going well. The Bay City ward probably has
about ohhhh 50-60 people in it. It is defferent but nice! Bay City is a
cute little town and I want to go to the Bay TODAY SO BAD! There are SO
many Ice fishers out on the river!
Anyways so here I am
soo awkward and new to the ward. I probably looked very lost. Someone
came up to me and said hey you are in Bay City don't worry....haha yes I
looked lost....but such a tender mercy Elder and Sister Bish from the
mission office decided to do a surprise visit and bring my bedding! I
was soo happy to see Sister Bish! She is such a classy lady and soo
nice! We got very close when I was living right across the mission
office and it was just nice to see her a familiar face. (and to finally
get my bedding! ;)
So right now we are teaching two
families and hoping to set 16 people on baptismal date! There is a lady
in the ward named Sister Martinez and she is related to everyone and
refers everyone to us! So she referred these two cute cute families to
us and we are just soo excited! They are also very excited to learn! :)
I have only met them once so I am excited to get to know them!
We
are also teaching a part-member family! Brother Mclean is soo funny. He
is very into revelations and doesn't trust any prophets! He is VERY
outspoken and is a Packers fan...so he was a bit upset that they lost
(sorry Grandpa...)
We also went out to THE CUTEST town
named Pinconning! It was a small little town and the sign for it was a
board tied to a stick leaning against a barrel. Everyone there says
"yous" as in "yous have a good day now ya hear!" and the trains go by
slow enough for everyone to wave! We are teaching a couple of people
out there and it was wonderful! I love it!
Anyways!
We have some good things going in Bay City! I really do love it! It is
just a cute little town by the bay! I love that we have been given this
life to really learn and to grow and to shape us into something that is
good! Heavenly Father is the master creator. He is the master at putting
us in situations and places that will create us into something better
than we could ever make of ourselves. It just takes our submitting to
his will to really let it happen. That is what I learned this week. Take
what you have got and make the most of it because what you have got is
from God and when you make the most of it that is when you will learn
exactly what God wanted you to.
MUCH MICHIGAN LOVE,
Sister Oswald
