nothing to eventful happened this week....EXCEPT WE ARE ON BIKES!! and my plant is starting to get little buds but that isn't important...

so Tuesday we had dinner with Tina she is a less active! she is the BEST! so we get there and this actually turns into a service project...we cleaned her house for an hour and THEN she taught us to make these biscuits that were seriously 5,000 calories (good thing we were on bikes :) so by that time we were there for two hours...but the thing is we don't get to see Tina and have a lesson with her EVER so after dinner we HAD to have a lesson so by the time we had left we had covered all the basics service, dinner, and a lesson...

Then we had a lesson with Ephraim which we brought a spanish speaker who had just returned from their mission and he taught the whole thing while we stood there....that was that lesson hahaha not sure what was even said!

THEN WE HAD HALF MISSION P-DAY! and I got to hang out with Sister Carter all day! She is the BEST! hahaha we told president that we have already decided that I am going to get transferred where she is at! He said okay! so I already know what is going to happen! Half mission p-day was so fun! we played ultimate frisbee and half the time I didn't know what I was doing! but I scored a couple times for my team so that equals I am pretty sporty right? no not really I know...

Thursday and Friday was plan to have a member come to a lesson and they all fall through day! We set up four lessons this week with member presents and each time they fell through and we exhausted 4-5 back up plans they took us to get something to eat! we were stuffed!!! haha (but again good thing we rode bikes for miles this week)

On Fridy we had a lesson with Sharee again and it was kind of crazy she had like 5 little kids running around in her little tiny porch so it was hard to feel the spirit but it was good she really has a hard time accepting the fact that not every church has the priesthood authority! but we will get there!

Then saturday Bernie took us to lunch at Denny's. He is a truck driver so he is always on the road and can't meet much. He says he wants to work on his faith before stepping any further. We talked about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how one step at a time he can get closer to baptism! Baptism scares him because he doesnt want to commit to it and then mess up after he is baptized. I was like Bernie we make mistakes...it is pretty much unavoidable! We then explained the atonement and how through that and taking the sacrament every week we can stay clean! We will see how it goes! I love bernie soo much!

Sunday we went tracting and found some good potentials! one of them was Abby and she is going to have her baby soon!! So we talked about how families can be strengthened through Christ church and by following his commandments! We have a follow-up appointment for thursday afternoon! :) we also tracted into these two older guys that were brothers! they made us their famous lemonade and talked to us about the air force! :) They were really nice but really not interested

Then we had a lesson with John Betts! he is super nice and even admitted that he would miss me when I was gone! we talked more about the word of wisdom and he said that he wasn't sure if he was ready to quit and said that it is okay he could be doing much worse than smoking and drinking! So we then talked about the difference between a sinner that is damned and I sinner that is saved. I found a REALLY awesome scripture that I use in every lesson almost it explains our purpose here, what we need to do to be saved, and over all what god expects of us. Look up Mormon 9:28 and we talked about a sinner that is saved is the one you actively tries to rid himself of those wrong-doings no matter how small they think they are. A sinner that is damned is the one who consumes his lusts and basically like a river damn...nothing progresses. Thought it was a cool analogy it just came in the lesson! Funny how you can go into a lesson and not even know you are teaching them until five minutes before and still have a good lesson. I know that the Lord's promise that when we study that in the very hour what we need to say will be given to us. I have experienced that time and time again this week as I have put forth the effort to have really good meaningful studies the words are given to me. I thank Heavenly Father for that every single minute because lets be honest I would probably ruin the WHOLE Michigan Lansing Mission if I didn't have the words given to me. I know that this is the Lord's work and the more we rely on him and work our hardest the more the work actually gets done. I love this gospel! I love being a missionary. Most of all I have loved serving in the Kalamazoo area. I am SO BLESSED to have been here at this time to meet the people I have come to love so much. I love all that I have learned from each of my companions and for the work that we were able to do. Alright I will stop! but I really am going to miss the Kalamazoo area so much! and I will probably cry all the way to my next area....sooo...wish me luck!

I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! I am so grateful to have each one of you! Your testimonies bear me up! I am such a lucky missionary! :)
