Before you read her letter...check out the training video she made on youtube...Its nice to see her face and hear her voice!

Ok...on to the letter:

I love Mt. Pleasant so much!! The ward is sooo missionary minded and the investigators are sooo awesome and my companion is the besttttt ever!! I felt like I was cheating walking into this perfectly wonderful area!!! It is also soo beautiful here I cannot stand it!!! It is such a cute little small town...I basically already know where everything is at after like 4 days! I love campus too! We teach a lot of Asians and Muslims! I love it! I love teaching Asians they are the sweetest! Dianna (Xun Lu is her real name) wrote my name in chinese! It is the best!
So Monday I got on the transfer van and we went to Lansing and I stayed the night with all the missionaries that were going home...haha so that was a bit distracting! One because I was so sad that they were leaving! I love all the missionaries that were going home! and two I saw how excited they were to see their family so it made me a bit excited to see you guys! Haha but it passed really quickly as I rode the transfer van again in the morning to Mt. Pleasant and just got right into the work! Did I mention I love Mt. Pleasant?
Also got to ride the transfer can with Sister CARTER! Did I mention that I love her! Oh my soul I love her (so much love in this e-mail) SHE IS TRAINING! Crazy! She will be awesome....what a lucky little trainee!
So a few of our investigators:
First of is Austin....he is so awesome!! He always pries for the deep doctrine because he loves it! haha! So finally we made him a little chart that he can put stickers on so when he reads for five days then we will teach him something more of the deeper doctrine of the gospel! He's literally obsessed with it. Austin is soo golden! He comes to all of our dinner appointments (which by the way have the missionary's investigators over for dinner! IT IS SUCH A WONDERUFL OPPORTUNITY!) and to all of our service opportunities! Yesterday we helped haul hay bails and he was there and then we cleaned this Fraternity house (which was nasty....so many bottle caps!) and he was there. haha! AUSTIN.
Then there is a family Andrew and Kelly! They have five kids and they are awesome! we taught the plan of salvation and that had soo many questions! We loved it! and we talked about how in the millennium you will have the opportunity to raise your children that passed away young and you could tell Kelly was ecstatic! She hasn't said if she has had a child pass away but think that might be the case. She really liked the plan of salvation.
Then we had Damion! He is super solid and really likes the church he is going to be baptized July 12th! He is like the easiest investigator! He keeps all of  his commitments and even invites his friends to come to church!
I am also FACEBOOK OFFICIAL! It is so fun! Haha it is cool I am friends with all of the people back in Kalamazoo! So on mondays I can chat with all of them! It is also a great way of finding! You can get on for an hour and invite like 30 people to learn more about the gospel! Half of our investigators are from facebook! Campus is a little slow right now because of course it is summer but it will pick up next transfer! But my goodness I have so many things to say right now I cannot put it into words. All I know is that my heart is full of charity and love towards everyone! I am so excited about this new area and learning and growing even more! I have learned to just LOVE growing pains! Because I know that with the trials that we face and the things that I go through bring me one step closer to Jesus Christ! AND HOW THAT MAKES ME EXCITED! The thing I gained the biggest testimony of in my last area is Jesus Christ. I always have loved my savior but this love grew ten thousand fold as I have learned more and more about him and leaned more and more on him and turned my cares and my sadness over to him and I learned of his deep and abiding love that he has for each of his children. I want to develop a love like that for each of the people in Mt. Pleasant and for all of the wonderful missionaries in the Midland zone! I love this work and I love this church and I know that this is the true church and through its teachings and priesthood we can become like our savior and live with him and our Father in Heaven. This is lasting joy.
LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! I am just loving you and missing you everyday! Hope you have a great week!
love,
Sista Oswald
