Oh my... this week...okay, so Monday I cleaned the bathroom...REAL good, made me sooo happy! Then Monday
night was exchanges! It was soo great! I was really nervous, but Sister Probert and I were exactly the same and we had SO MUCH FUNNN!!! We
worked out in the morning together and met soo many people and shoveled
peoples walk ways and joked and worked hardddd! We found a guy named Russ... I LOVE RUSS!!! so much! We stopped and talked to him for a bit and
then he talked about how lonely he was and he was just about to go for a
walk for lunch. So we went our separate ways and after a minute from
walking away Sister Probert and I looked at each other and were like we
need to walk with him! So we turned around and ran after him...it was
kinda like a dramatic love story...but not really...and we were yelling "
RUUUSSS!" and he turned around and the look on his face was priceless! He
loved it! We walked and talked with him! It was great!!! And we were
telling him that a ward is like a family and he just got sooo excited
because he said he has never really had a family! Its the best! He is so
prepared! We had so muchhh fun! I loved it! It was positive and energetic
and fun! And really opened my eyes to the fact that missionary work can be fun and you
don't have to be a robot and just say the lessons. Love the people...yeah
I know I should know this by now, but it really opened my eyes to how it
really can be exciting and great...
We went tracting in the snow and let
me tell you... all it did this week was snow snow snow snow snow
snow snow.... all week...a foot and a half! bBt the snow here is so
fluffy and gorgeous! Sister Probert and I were like lets just take a minute and take this all in! It is soo gorgeous here, I love it!
We are
getting investigators like crazy! We don't even know what to do! They walk
up to us and ask us the questions, it is amazing! Heavenly Father is so
great!
Wednesday I saw Sister Carter ...oh my heck I love her! I almost cried I missed her so much!! Wednesday
night...is a story for when I get home to tell you so remind me in
like 17 months to tell you! But KECO also got an answer to his prayers
and HOLY COW... he is supposed to get baptized THIS SATURDAY!!!
I love Keco...hahah. We also have Quinshayla and Amy, Rop and Jessica, and Cory and Issa, and so many more ahhh! So many and not enough time to
tell you about them! So
last week our numbers were sooooo good that the zone leaders called and
questioned us about all our investigators because he thought we were
lying about everything! And we had a Christmas party with the Rivers
kids they are soooooo great, I love them! I will send lots of pictures of
us playing in the snow!! We were bus finding on Thursday
and I was sitting next to this guy named Chuck and I thought he was
listening to my whole schpill about the restoration and I was soo
excited and then all the sudden he says, "Ya know, you have the most
beautiful eyes...do you have a boyfriend...?" I was like "uhhhhh no... but i am
a missionary...soooo..." hahah.... so awkward...
This week was hard and I really
had to pray to Heavenly Father a lot and lean on Him and ask Him for patience
and everything else! I really took Tylee's advice to pray pray pray and
it has helped a lot! And yes dad, I am singing in the shower and it has
made all the difference actually! It helps me to be positve! And have my
own energy even if I am the only one laughing at my jokes and having
fun....
