This week was mucho crazy! (I am working on my spanish skills...we have been finding alot of spanish speakers and so I got fed up and decided to learn a door knock approach in spanish....somo missionettas :) Don't laugh Casey...

First off the smartest thing of my life...A GOLD MINE MAP...so we made the ultimate finding map and with stickers! we marked every member, potential investigator, former, less active and who ever else!! and we found SIX NEW INVESTIGATORS!

first of them being Lorrie and Enricka! they are the best! so they have 10 adorable little kittens and I just love cats...good thing because everyone seems to have like seven...Lorrie is a former investigator and her husband is enricka! they are GEMS...yes kenz...the gemmiest of gems...so enricka used to have what you would call a "THUG LIFE" ha yes...seems like everyone here has  one actually....(we once asked a less active how it was growing up and Kalamazoo and he said "oh just kinda boring, not too great" only to find out later that he was a HUGE DEALER had like 3 houses and 7 cars, was part of huge gangs and went to jail for ten years....) but anyways he used to be a hardcore dealer and just a rough rough life but he decided to clean up his life and be the best he can be! he really liked our message and said he would love to read the book of Mormon! anything to help him come closer to Jesus Christ! enricka LOVES Jesus Christ!

Then we found James....if anyone is the coolest person in america it IS JAMES! he is pretty much THE COOLEST guy in THE WORLD! He was homeless for 3 months after his wife....was a total...whats the word....BUT he totally turned his life around and is just so great to everyone! everyone on his street knows him and loves him! even the gangs! he has a homeless person living in his house while he gets back on his feet and he also has a prayer room which he is going to be praying and meditating about the Book of Mormon in this week!!! He knows 5 different languages including the clicking language they use in Africa...not a big deal....and he is just so great! and he is so receptive and so in tune with the spirit he recognizes truth so quick!! Yesterday we went and saw him and I forgot my scarf and it was SOOO COLD so he GAVE me his....what the heck....yeah James....he is pretty much the best person you will EVER meet in your life!

Bob...is a miracle...we actually had tons of miracles this week....but Bob...okay so we were walking along and all the sudden I just had a strong impression that door!!! so we did! and bob came out and was like no no no I am not interested and I said welll hold on a second have you ever heard of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints? and he was like yeah...I am a member! what?!? so we got to talking and he said yeah I would like to come back so we are going to visit him sometime this week and hopefully he will come Sunday.

Friday was the worst.....it was soooooo cold and rainy and EVERYTHING fell through nothing was going as planned, S. nuttall and I were just butting heads about everything because ya know when you are together 24/7 it happens (we laughed about it later...don't worry ya'll) all our ride bailed out on us and we were stuck in the ghettos with out a car in the freezing rain...I wanted to sit down on the curb and cry....but I didn't we knocked and knocked and knocked...and then finally we went to our ward mission leaders house and painted trim....which I felt professional because we did that before moving into our house! so it was a good way to end a HORRENDOUS day....

Saturday I got attacked by some guy on the bus...no I am just being dramatic but it was really scary I wanted to cry! We were sitting on the bus and then all the sudden this reallllllyyy, like REALLY scary guy and all the sudden he throws his fist at me and I flinch and close my eyes because I SWEAR ON MY LIFE he was going to hit me and then he looks at me and just starts mumbling something really scary! So me being the whimp I cower down and just look straight ahead the rest of the time but I can just see him right next to me just staring and me! Have you ever seen the guiness world records book with the guy and how his eyes pop out like 4 miles....yeah...that is what he looked like!! I got of the bus and just hugged sister nuttalll and said NEVER LEAVE ME! EVER!

But buses seem to be a good place to find! we talked to this kid and he was just being...well I was just frustrated so finally I said why do you like to party and do drugs and get in trouble? and he said because it is fast and fun! and I said you are looking at ten years in jail is that fast and fun and he got quiet and then I said we can offer you something so much better...happiness that you cant get in a bottle and then I handed him a card and we got off the bus...sister nuttall was like uhhh....that was bold...

Then we went to the Lamb of God a symphony slash like singing...I dont know but it was so good! I just cried the WHOLE TIME! It was like Chirst experience in music! My goodness it was so good!! But we had to take out name-tags off because we could not proselyte! because it was like all the churches in kalamazoo got together and planned it so we couldnt mention anything! our zone leader said it is kind of a compliment because they know we will do our missionary work haha! we are a threat! but my goodness I felt so empty when I took it off! first when I heard that I was like yay! I wont get weird looks for a couple hours...but I like getting weird looks.... :( I am never taking off my nametag...ever....missionary life is the life fo me!

well so much else happened this week but I am just really tired of typing so..........ther' ya go.
