So....good news! Sharlotte and Diamond were baptized! It was so wonderful!!! Sharlotte was glowing after she got confirmed! And I sat in the back and wrote down some of the blessings she got and then gave them to her and Diamond! I bawled when the ward sustained them and they just stood up there smiling! The whole ward loves her so much and it just brings me so much joy! Especially when they were talking about giving her a calling and really welcoming her into the ward! I love her and her family so much! So wonderful that we could help bring them into the FOLD!!!! :)

Also, this week we went door knocking and it was so stinking cold that we used golf balls to knock on the door....then we found a HUGE icicle so naturally we threw the golf ball at the icicle to knock it down! Don't worry nobody got mad! It was a vacation house on the lake! :) I love door knocking on the lake... it is sooo pretty!

Then we met THE FUNNIEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! Alright, so there was this little ratty house in the corner and so naturally I think hey they look like they are humble livin' people so we went and knocked on the door....turns out that humble livin' home was ACTUALLY A GARAGE with dun dun dun duhhhhh REX LEE AND JERRY! Havin' a beer, working on their snowmobile...they were soo funny! I seriously laughed so hard! He was like hey maybe you could marry my son! haha probably not.....

This week pretty much all we did was get lost! Seriously though....but yesterday, we pulled over to look at the map for a second and then Sister Nuttall and I looked at each other and said hey...lets go knock on that door! SO WE DID! Annnnd no one answered....bummer deal! But then when we were walking back to the car we met Kianna and she was crying and said that her grandma had passed away she got fired for no reason and she is having family problems! Talk about bad week! (and I thought mine was bad) so we hugged her and she starting crying even more and then we talked about the plan of salvation and what not and scheduled an appointment to go and see her...actually today! yes, it is p-day but she needs help :(
The more and more I am out her the more I realized two things (well more than two things but I am only going to talk about two things in this email...okay?...okay!)
1. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE SPIRIT! I know what you are thinking...you just figured that out? but seriously if you are not continually striving for the spirit and always praying and directing your thoughts toward the work and the savior then you will be one miserable person. TRUST ME I  KNOW! haha so I have really been striving to have the spirit with me so strong and not think about what I used to do when I was "in the world"
2. I DO NOTHING. really though I just show up and occasionally get lost and the LORD does the work! it is so amazing! :) I love it! I really am here to just show up to appointments! Missionary wok is EASY! (that was a joke)
Anyways we had trade off this week and it was so fun you will see that picture of my STL and me at the corner of LOVERS LANE! haha we only thought it would be appropriate to take that picture on VALENTINES DAY!!! hahah but it was hard to explain to the lady that we werent actual lovers....the conversation went a little like this hey will you take a picture of us next to lovers lane since it is valentines day....pause....WELL I mean not because we are lovers! we arent...ya know....we are companion...missionaries....yeah.... hahah AWKWARD!
Alright well, anyways this week was...crazy! up and down and up and down! and so many funny things! haha but I LOVE THIS WARD SO MUCH! there is an older guy Brother Steimla that always calls me Sis and says hey you are my sister so i guess I can give you a hug! He is wonderful! I dont think I will ever be ready to leave this area! EVER! I love all the ward members so much!! :) like SO MUCH! they are all soo great!! This week was SO HARD....VERY HARD!!!!!!!! But hey...Sharlotte and Diamond can now enter into the celestial kingdom....so I guess....I can do hard.....LOVE YOU ALLL! Have a blessed week! :)
Love, Sister Oswald
