Natalie flew out of the MTC this morning! We got to talk with her on the phone for a little bit! She sounds great! And is so excited to head to Michigan. She is going to miss her companion but is so excited to get out into the field and start teaching! Can't wait to hear from her next week about her first week in Michigan! This was her letter from yesterday before she left the MTC!

Hi family! Like i said emailing stresses me out! and so does traveling...so bring on the stress right!!? Okay so now that I have gotten over the home sickness I am going to have zone sickness!! I love all my zone! Some of the Elders were leaving Monday morning so Sunday night we all gathered into our tiny classroom and sang hymns and then ended with "God be with you till we meet again" and cried because we have gotten so close! In just two weeks! Now it is just Sister Carter and I and then three other Elders left in our zone! And the Sisters from our zone left this morning. I cried as they walked out the door! They are going to Boston but Sister Hanson and maybe Sister Carter and I are going to BYU-I and going to room together! I really miss everyone in my zone! I dont know if I can take all the goodbyes that missions put me through!
I have loved and hated the MTC all at the same time! Tuesday's devotional was suppppper wonderful. Elder Perry spoke and it was so good! I sang in the choir too! We were all (700 missionaries) singing "Called to Serve" and then Elder Perry walked in the room and hollllyyy cow the Spirit was so strong!
So mom, I got your dear letter and you talked about Mitchel's chicken laying an egg and I anounced that all excited and Sister Hanson (from Washington) busted out laughing until she was rolling on the floor crying. Then when she finally stopped laughing she was like "only in Idaho!"" It was soo funny!
I am so excited and nervous to meet my mission president tomorrow I picked my best outfit and hopefully a whole day of flying doesn't make me look too bad!!! hahaha! I really want to make a good impression!

Not too much has happened this week! But at Sunday's devotional I saw everybody I knew at the same time it was sooo exciting! I loved it! Jeff and I are always together! It is like back at home! Umm just class and all our TRC investigators canceled on us so we had a lot of down time and not enough practicing  It makes me nervous to get into the field! I feel like I have the first lesson down for the most part and I am super pumped to talk to people on the plane and tell them of the restoration!

Anyways I miss you guys like crazy! these two weeks have gone by soooooo fast! I love being on a mission so far! haha so hopefully it stays that way!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH! and talk about you twenty four seven! cant wait to get out there and start doing the Lords work!!!

Love,
Sister Oswald

Every time one of the Elders needed a button sewn on to their suits... we would sew a secret heart on the inside pocket. Pretty soon there were A LOT of Elders with buttons falling off their suits ;)
